VOYAGE OF THE HIPPO 2

Art for Humans [AFH] and Good Faith Space [GFS] are pleased to present
Voyage of the Hippo 2 on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 from 6-9PM at
Standard Toykraft, 722 Metropolitan (3rd Floor). The evening program
will include an artists' reception, an exhibition of documentary
photographs in the GFS Project Room and a compelling presentation
hosted by principle members of the Hippo crew, Clemens Poole and Shane
Kennedy, with additional commentary provided by shipmates and
witnesses.

ABOUT THE VOYAGE OF THE HIPPO

The boat is like some kind of leviathan dealing out a strange
emotional justice. - The Captain

Hippo is an 36’ junk rig schooner. Over the past two summers (2012-13)
Clemens Poole and a hardy, international crew of artists and travelers
have navigated the Danube and Black Sea aboard the Hippo and explored
the territories along their shores. Voyage of the Hippo is a chronicle
of that momentous trek. Upon the return of the Hippolytes to the US in
2012, Art for Humans/Occupational Art School hosted an evening
celebrating the successful journey at Bat Haus in Bushwick. In 2013
the VotH event will take place at Good Faith Space in Williamsburg and
feature the multimedia presentation, as well as an installation of

ABOUT GOOD FAITH SPACE

GOOD FAITH SPACE [GFS] currently inhabits the Project Room of Standard
ToyKraft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC. The mission of GFS is to
platform Dimensionist Art projects and multidisciplinary
collaborations by accomplished and emerging creative practitioners,
